Cadbury India, part of the world’s largest chocolate and biscuit manufacturer Mondelez International Global, signed a memorandum of understanding with the Andhra Pradesh government for setting up a manufacturing facilities at Sri City. The first phase will involve investments of Rs 1,000 crore and have the capacity to make 1.25 lakh tonnes of products a year. Manu Anand, Cadbury India’s managing director and Mondelez International’s South Asia president, refused to disclose details about the next phase of investments.
